Yeah, I know, old saying… Still need to start with something. This is attempt to make dedicated corner to share some things that are of interest to me. Data processing, Python programming, technology and tools…
Perhaps, you may (dis)like what you’ll find here, but I am publishing all this mainly to keep track of the findings. Also this is attempt to get out of the comfort zone of only dreaming about blogging. Then to save some useful or interesting information.
How to Start a Successful Blog in 5 Steps
- Understand the topic you like talking about the most.
- Choose your blog name and get your blog hosting.
- Decide on CMS (Content Management System). I use Hugo.
- Pick a simple theme to make your blog your own.
- Write compelling content to create a blog that your readers love.
Update on the blog content in 2021
I wanted to leave this very first post, just to remember when this whole blogging thing started :) I have to admit that from the time it was published until the end of 2021, not much has moved on here. I only did the blog occasionally, studying Hugo, themes, configurations, and trying to figure out how to put it all together so that it would work simply and reliably. It wasn’t until late 2021 that the blog somehow began to transform from an idea to a practical implementation.
Since the content of the blog is one of the most basic things, I have removed all the unimportant posts from that time, leaving only this one.
Blog Update 2023
The blog has grown to the point where it is already every day visited by hundreds of people from all over the world. I am constantly working to improve the content and layout so that there is always useful information here that is interesting and pleasing to the eye to read. And for the convenience of people from different countries, this year I added two more languages in which to read my blog.
